Brazilian poet Lígia Dabul developed Garça Torta | Crooked Heron during an artistic residency in Monsanto, Portugal, connected to the University of Coimbra. The resulting collection brings together poems shaped by place, observation, and displacement, translated into English by Virna Teixeira. The cover features an illustration by Lua Celina.
The book was launched in Rio de Janeiro and London and is currently in its third edition.
