Rosane Carneiro is a researcher, lecturer, journalist, editor, translator, creative writer – poetry and short stories – and performer. Born in Rio de Janeiro, she has lived in the UK for many years. She is currently a research associate at the University of Bristol and a lecturer in Portuguese at KCL, having also worked in research and teaching at the universities of Edinburgh, Exeter and Aston.

Drone was the first publication of Carnaval Press in 2015, and also Rosane Carneiro’s first publication in English.

More than a decade later, and to celebrate ten years of the press, this digital edition is now available for download as a special gift to readers.
